The wheels I have chosen are the TT2 knockoff made by Rev Wheels in chrome.

Front 18x8 4.5 BS 1.5" lip
Rear 18x9 5" BS 2.5" lip

I'm running Hooker LT's with duals dumping before the rear axle, so I don't really want to lower the car, but I do want to fill the wheelwells, but without rubbing.

I haven't ordered the wheels yet, so I am completely open to suggestion on those sizes too, should I maybe go 18x9 all the way around for rotational purposes? Or maybe 18x9 rear and 18x7 front for a more staggered look?

Too many choices, help me out fellow thirdgenners.

Thanks!

I would keep all 4 the same size for rotational purposes. I have 17x9.5 and 17x11 and kinda regret that choice now but the car looks nice with the fat rear tires. I put 17x9.5 on my 4th gen camaro love the looks as well but not overy thrilled about how the car wanders when in ruts or uneven surfaces on the highway. Handling wise I love them though.

Re: OK, finally picked my new wheels, now I need some tire help

OK, I ordered the wheels today, 18x9 rear and 18x8 front. It's not my DD, so I can live with the fact that I can't rotate the tires. Suspension is stock, and I'm looking for advice on tires. I'm going to be going with Nitto 555 and am wondering what fellow thirdgenners think of a few different setups I'm considering. 1. Basically the same size tires front and rear (obviously more tire on the rear since it's a wider wheel). 2. A slightly taller tire on the rear.

Please give me advice/opinions on what you think would look best.

Thanks!

I got riken raptors at 119.00 a tire for my 4th gen 275/40zr17, happy overall with them in dry and wet weather. No high speed problems either, my 3.8 can't even break them loose. My 274/40/17 & 315/35/17 combination by summitomo seem ok as well.
