Stock rims problem!!!!
Stock rims problem!!!!
Hello all. I have a 1987 firebird formula and the stock 16' lace rims are being scrubbed by I think are the outer tie rods. It scrubs whenever I turn and its eating the inside of the front rims up. I know they're the stock rims, mechanic said i had the wrong rotors? and I replaced to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post pictures shortly. Thanks

You probably have the rear wheels on the front. Switch them around, should solve your problem.

make sure you have the "rear" rims on the rear then the "front" rims on the front. They have a different offset and will make a difference. If someone rotated the tires at some point in the past and didn;t realize they were different then most likely that's you're issue.
