can i fit this without rubbing issues?

im fixing to pick up a set of used michelin pilot sport tires for the front end for around 60 bucks this weekend. they came off a maxima
its going on a bmw type of rim 18 x 8.5
245 45 sounds good, only a lil taller and Alot less money compared to the 245 40, i did my research on tire rack,. prices are wacked out.
so anyway is it gonna rub? and where at?

Currently running a 235 60 15 about a 26.1 inch OD tire. i would like to stay As tall or taller if possible.

The rim makes most of the difference but a tape measure and straight edge will help. If not just have a bfh handy.

Re: can i fit this without rubbing issues?

Depends on a few vairiables, but the height will 'work'. I have 26.1" front tires and they only rub the front of the wheels wells slightly, but that more caused by the width I'm using.

I think you will be fine, but like I mentioned, a few variables reguarding alignment and wheel location will come into play.

i think i might take chance with the 245 45's and see what bad happens,. im tired of theorizing and being fearful of stuff,.
they do in fact have a tall side wall but the 235 60 15 up front is a 26.1 inch tire. the 245 45 is a 26.7.. a half inch or so more.
