hey guys. Im making moves in my build (high revving 350 vortec tpi build thread coming soon)and Im starting to think ahead as far as being able to transfer the power to the ground. I currently have the old BFG 245/50r16's Sports which with my stock l98 with 8mm wires and a full exhaust (slp shorty's and 3" Borla) would not hook to save my life, and seeing as i'm beefing up this l98 something fierce i wanna make sure I can utilize it. with that being said I wanna throw a decent tire on my GTA's. I do quite a bit of driving however Im willing to spend the coin on decent grippy tires...I've been looking at different 295/50r16's(Mickey Thompson's, Hoosier) as well as 255/50r16's(BFG g force sport Comp 2, G force T/A, Mickey Thompson T/A, and the Hoosier).Im leaning towards the Comp 2's for daily something like 245 up front 255 in the rear however I LOOOOVE the look of the 295 on the rear, but Im afraid they wont hold up well in rainy conditions... I would like some opinions as to what you guys would do if you were in my situation. (Vortec TPI MEGA PORTED PLENUM, RUNNERS, soon to be edelbrock Vortec Intake...trying to hit the 6kRPM range. I PLan on squeezing every single HP out of this bad boy as possible without changing ci. and power adders. Teaser Pic below) lots of Spirited,highway and Light to light driving...

also was spit balling the idea of just throwing the 255's on mine, and picking up a spare set of GTA's to throw a 295 on just to keep around for the track and days when I go Honda and Vette hunting

any info, and reviews of the tires and sizes mentioned, and words of wisdom from more seasoned Gear heads would be appreciated! thanks guys.
