Need input on tire fitment for 275/60-15 or 265's

Need input on tire fitment for 275/60-15 or 265's
So I'm getting some Weld Draglites (15x8) for the rear. They were on my dads GTO with 275/60's and need I know if these would fit my thirdgen on sock suspension or should I go with 265's. Maybe a 50 or 60?

275/60 on 15x8 fits if the wheels gave the right backspacing. 275/50s are only offered as drag radials now, there never were any 265/60R15s, and the 265/50R15s are history.

I ran 275/60-15 on my '91 RS with a 15x7" that had the same BS as the stock wheels, they fit fine.

Should fit fine.
Had 28x10.5 slicks on mine and it was lowered.
