275's don't fit. What do I do?
275's don't fit. What do I do?
Hey guys so today I inherited some Weld Draglites from my dads GTO. Rear is 15x8.5 and front is 15x5. The fronts fit no problem. The rear 275's are too wide and hit the bump stop. The guy at the shop told me to get 235's instead. Isn't that a little narrow for an 8.5" wide wheel? Should I go with 245's or 255's? Any other opinions? Thank you very much guys!

Without knowing the BS its hard to guess and the shop should have been able to tell you it.
Some shops will mount a old tire in the size you want on your wheel then just put it on and see how it fits.I run 255/60r15s rear on a 8in. wide wheel and love them.
Here's a way to measure.

You have to have a wheels with the wrong backspacing, I've had 255/60-15, 275/60-15 and 295/50-15 on my car without any problems. I'm currently running 295/50-16's with no issue.

Yep, wrong back spacing. If you really want to run them, get some spacers.

Have 15x10" with Hoosier 275 60's and a 5.5" backspace also perfect fit.
