I wrote a previous request to find out what color silver the stock 1984 Z28 wheel was painted form the factory. I found out from GM historical that the color is Argent silver.
I need to refinish my wheels since somewhere along the way, Someone painted the wheels white before i owned it (not liking it).

I would like a brighter silver that would look like the newer alloys on cars now...Not a polished look but the satin appearance.

Any ideas?

 

A powdercoater should be able to put a satin clear over any color...
