Not meaning to be rude at all, but if you search there's a lot of us running 17's with different back sets, wheel widths, tire sizes...and they all "fit".

Too many variables to answer the question..is your car lowered, do you want staggered wheels, stock width or wider?? I have a post from when I bought my wheels and tires with all the wheel/tire size info plus a pic of them installed.

Lots of others do too. Hope you find what you need!!

I would not suggest putting 17" x 7" wheels on your IROC - too narrow.

You will only be able to comfortably fit a 245 width tire on a 8" wide wheel - have you thought about 17" x 9.5" wheels to mount a much more substantial 275-40-17 sized tire?

Wow...I only see good advice above along with questions on fit. Good luck.

You can fit a 9.5" wheel if you have 0 offset - either through the wheel having that from the start, or spacers to get you to the right offset.

Not sure of your intended use, but a "square" tire setup (same sized wheels and tires on all corners) will work best for your front heavy car. While my company, CTW Motorsports makes wheels for the 3rd gens in 17" x 9.5", there are other options in that size to choose from.
