I'm thinking they look better on the 2014 than they would on my 88.

idk bro. the hard lines of the wheel and its angles would compliment very nicely with our cars, especially 91 92 cars... the 2014 camaro is even using some of our body lines you look close enough. i would love to have these mounted up on my white 92

That's the joy of individual ownership.
Everybody gets to have it his own way.
I will never be right with low profile tires on classic cars.
I groan at every episode of Overhaulin'
I understand Chip has wheels to sell - but it just doesn't look right - let alone is that skinny sidewalk appealing to me.

Ill second that they probably look better on the new Zs, but someone should photoshop one to see how it looks

305 tires would be a very tough front fit, not to mention that they would also be larger diameter - at least 2" taller than the 245-50-16 tires at 25.75"...

I'd rather have the brakes than the wheels. Like the wheels... LOVE the brakes!

Re: 2014 wheels, must have
why not both lol
tires and wheels come in at 12 inches wide and 26 inch diameter.. i can run that in the back .. and i can run a narrower tire in front, i can always have the wheel cut down. im already run 26 inch tall tires anyway and already plan to go 12 inches wide in back and 10 up front, im already at 10 inch wides all the way around.. ii like running around road courses. and lower profile just tend to handle better and fit bigger brakes. but everyone likes there own thing and thats all cool...

Re: 2014 wheels, must have

Did what I can, If I spent more time on it the wheels would be a bit sharper and I could actually reference size of stock wheels vs these. But not bad for 3 AM boredom

I didn't think they would look too good on a thirdgen but after Photoshop I kinda like the style, just wish there was more tire and less wheel.
I am in the same boat as you W.E.G., makes it look like a stupid Escalade from L.A. with only 2" of visible rubber IMHO

Re: 2014 wheels, must have
You got it, cant promise beautiful results. it would be great to get a high quality photo of the wheels too but every " high def" photo I found of them got terribly pixelated when shrinking and so far the ones you see are the best. But a high quality photo of your car would be great. Or pm me and ill give my email you can send me an original pic file as it will edit better than one embeded in a website.

That would be interesting especially on your white camaro would most defiantly need a brake upgrade
Only issue I see is front might stick out idk what's the offset on those wheels

17's are my personal sweetspot for these cars. Those Z28 wheels look nice, I think if they were 18s they might look okay on our cars. But they're probably 20's or something.

i like them . due to the size of my photo it make the wheels look like 22s lol.. is there any way to make the wheels smaller or photo larger to compensate so it looks proportional? if it is too much work dont bother though, i dont want to take up your time

Size is easy to change, what is the size of your current wheels so I can compare and adjust.

It seems like the 2014 has a 3rd gen eske tail light treatment if you look at the way they wrap around the fenders.Wedge shape toward the front of the car. They dont have the grid design but I kinda see third gen cues.

Wishful thinking maybe lol.Could only hope the GM designers would take some of the 3rd gen styling into consideration for the 5th gen.

Re: 2014 wheels, must have
Alright, made them roughly an inch larger than yours( a little difficult with getting pixels to match perfectly haha) and added a little more rubber to make them look more fitting in the wheel well, tried to keep the spokes brighter so you can actually see the design of the wheel better too. Hope this is to your liking!!

Re: 2014 wheels, must have
im either doin the c6 z06 brakes, the zl1 brakes, or these ones, with yellow calipers . i already have fixed back buckets in the car now but would eventually have them re done in leather and alcantara black... doors are already pleather and suede... which im going to redo them so everything comes from the same die lot... i figure yellow is good because to original dash badge and gauges are yellow and i like it... shift boot is suede with yellow double stitch also. i will be doing a back seat delete, and a full cage . with dimpled a pillar plates...im doing the zl1 hood piece but i am cutting it and altering it a little. and im in the prosses of making the revamped spoiler, kind of like my first one but wider... but still out of 2x2 twill carbon. and eventualy a removable front splitter.
any other sugestions or ideas i may have overlooked?

I like the style of the wheel, but black definitely blends in with the tires and looks odd to me. Keep in mind that our wheels have almost the same black finish, but "pop" more in pictures for (I'm guessing) design reasons... Could just be me.
If you could get a set narrowed to 10" and stick a stock height 275-30-19 tire on it (with spacers), it would work. Problem is the cost, the narrowing, and the spacers - not really economical or useful to anyone other than 3rd geners.
