will this slick fit
I got me some slicks at a good price and now im wondering if they will fit my car. They are 28x10.5x15 M/T slicks im looking at getting them on with some 15x8 or 10in wide wheels. WHat im mainly concern about is will they fit without having to do any mods to wheel wells? Also my car is lowered on sportlines.

What are the specifications to run a 15" x 10" rim on a 1982-1992 F-Body Camaro & Firebird? How large of a tire will fit without modifications?
On the Thirdgen 1982-1992 F-Body Camaro and Firebird you want to use a 15" x 10" x 5.5" back spacing rear rims. These rims will fit inside of the wheel well with no rolling of the lip and only minor "massaging" of the front of the lower inner fender well.
A 28.00" x 11.50" tire will fit on that rim and clear the car just fine. Any tire size larger than that will require modifications for clearance.

Most people go with 15x10 with 6.5" backspacing and do more clearancing to get them to tuck under the car like the normal 15x8s.

I have 28x10x15s hoosiers on 15x8 inch rims(4.5 BS). Its tight in there on my set up but I didn't need to bash any of the fender in. If your going with a little wider tire, you will need to make sure you have clearance before you attempt to drive it, and make corrections to make it work right. I would be willing to bet you need to bash in your inner fender a bit but not a terrible amount. That if you stay with 10 inch wide rims with 6.5 bs or 9 inch wide with 5.5 bs.

Its not the exact same tire but I figured id chime in.
