diff legths and wheel fitment

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt 3.23
diff legths and wheel fitment
does anyone know if the 9 bolt and 10 bolt (7.5") are the same length from one wheel mounting surface to the other? i have an 89 rs. it had a 9 bolt disc rear when i bought and don't have access to the stock rear end to measure myself. all my buddies are 4th gen guys and those rears are longer from my understanding. does anyone here know??? thanks

The 3rd gen rears are all the same length.
