Would these be good tires to get for my GTA?

I'm looking at buying new tires for my trans am and found these and thought they were pretty sleek looking. Would these fit on stock rims no problem? http://www.firestonetire.ca/tires/fi...-as/p245-50r16

Can't really go bigger with factory wheels. Not many tire choices.

Myself, I'm a big fan of bfg g force sport comps for a driver.

What's your budget? If it's kinda tight I had really good luck with riken raptor tires. Summit sells them and they have good all around performance especially for the price. In stock size they are I think $80 a piece.

As cheap as possible without cheaping out if that makes sense lol. I looked into those and they seem really good, came across these from summit racing which I'm really considering too http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

I am going to suggest you follow Johnny Blaze's suggestion of the BFG G-force sports in 245-50-16, which are the absolute best summer street tire in that size (not like there is any real selection anyway).

I know they are more expensive, but they are more than worth it. I sold 2 sets of 275-40-17 sized ones and my customers are super happy with the results.

BTW, DTD offers free shipping on tires - so you may actually save money that way.

Re: Would these be good tires to get for my GTA?

Thanks for the heads up! I have no problem paying for a more expensive tire from that site due to the free shipping, I could be buying a cheaper tire from summit and pay the same as a better tire from dtd due to the shipping tacked on

They make the G Force in 255/50r16 also. I know it's not that much wider, but still wider.

I have raptors on my second gen. Nice tire for the money, but the bfg has much better grip.
