I used tirerack.com to guide me and according to them this will all fit, but it'd be nice for a little extra confirmation. Will these fit an 84 camaro berlinetta, and will the car ride okay with them? In terms of looks I do want it to look a little more modern with lower profile tires/larger rims. Thanks

thirdgen front 16" wheels are 0mm offset and 8" wide.
They offer those 17" wheels in 8" with the same offset so they'll work.
It's a conservative fitment; nothing should be an issue at all. The only question is whether the wheel center opening will properly fit the hub.

Contact ARE.
If they're 98-04 S10 bore size, they can be opened up for a third gen.
If they're bigger than thirdgen size, nothing wrong with running proper rings to make them fit hub-centric.
