So I've got long wheel studs for running my draglites but have been looking at vette wheels for the street. Anybody tried using those big spacers like me a spacer and not an adapter?

I sure as hell wouldn't run that setup.
Too much opportunity for lateral movement to shear a stud.

I run an adapter on the front of my car with long studs. I run the 2.500" ARP Stud. After pressing it into the hub and running my vette brakes with a 1.75" adapter (2.05" total spacing) the studs are flush or just a tad under the surface.
Unsure if you are running the 2.5" or the 3.25".

proper torque on the lugs is a key part to make all of that act as one piece...... More crap ya add, more chances for failure. Don't just tighten them by hand n say good enough like a stock tire.
long as you have a legit reason, studs and spacers have a place. [ why they are made, cept to many use em to push a tiny 14in tire out on their low rider to make it look like wider wheels......]
