Will these Work/ fit?

So I want a little more aggressive / not stock stance. I think the easiest way to achieve these (on stock GTA rims) is to go a little wider tire.

I want to go 245/50/16 in the front and 255/60/16 in the rear.

With that said, can anyone suggest tires that aren't going to set me back more than a weeks pay? ( $700) if possible

Keep in mind that 10mm of tire width additional in the rear is not going to be noticeable.

As others have said - BFG is the tire to go with (actually the only real choice).

Re: Will these Work/ fit?

OK:

1.) How wide can I go on this GTA rim, no modification required?

2.) Are those good tires, if I do go with them, for street driving?

245-50-16 is the size to shoot for.

Yes, the BFG G-Force Sports are the best (and only) high performance summer tire you can get in that size. Some may talk about the Firestones, but the BFg is going to grip the best.
