How they started. definitely needed something.


sanded the aluminum and it came fairly clean. still have to sand to a lighter grit and polish, but wont have the polish until tomorrow.


all masked up. that **** takes forever.


first coat down. looks good.


final coat. came out great.


finished product. well almost.

i still have to finish the aluminum sanding and polish them, but they came out pretty good.

Those have always been my favorite 3rd gen Camaro wheels. They'd look awesome in 17, or 18"

 

Looks good, I did the same thing to mine when I painted the car about 10 yrs ago. It does take forever to do lol. I think I used 5 different grits before polishing.
