Questions about rims and drag radials.
Ok i havent bought this stuff but a friend let me take these rims home to see if they would fit up well. They are 15x10 with a 5.5 backspace. Weld draglite.
My main question is can you mount drag radials on a rim that has already been bead locked? Will it work and if so i would assume i have to bead lock the drag radials. Another question is does the bead glue ive head of help so that the DR doesnt get shreaded up from the screws? Thanks for any infomation!
I can definitely see that the inner fender area will need some working over specifically the bump stops. The slicks on the car now are 10.5 and I have a set of 10 in wide slicks that I use during the season that I want to toss back on those rims if that works out.
Im also looking to get the front rims up front also to match.
But i would be running radial tires up front also. So i can drive to and from the track.

Re: Questions about rims and drag radials.
any radial tire will work up front. to drive to the track..
for the rear.. just remove the screws make sure the inside lip is free from sharp stuff.
install your tires.bal them..(done).. if you want to install the right wheel/tire screws.. then do so before you bal them. if you dont want to install them thats ok to..
note: i drove my car to the track all the time with radials up front and slicks in the rear.
it's just the old roads at 40+ mph that makes for a fun ride..with a combo like this.. nothing that will kill you if you know how to drive...
