wheel questions
Newish to Camaros so I need some help with some wheel fitments.
Car:1986 Camaro IROC-Z
I want to do a staggered fitment with a 19" wheel, 9.5" or 10" on the front and 11" wheel in the back. I want the wheels and tires to sit flush with the fenders not tuck, not poke. I was wondering what offsets I would need front and rear to make this happen. Also I would like to check tire sizes too. Front would be a 275/30/19, rear 315/25/19. Any problems running these sizes? any input and pics would help thanks!

Re: wheel questions
19" is an oddball size - tire sidewalls get too small and the selection is not as wide as say 18"or 20" wheels and tires typically. I would push you towards 18" wheels and tires.
In the front, a 9.5" wheel with 5.25" BS will be perfect; a 10" wheel would require 5.75" BS. Both will be flush as you desire. 275-30-19 is the correct size.
In the rear, an 11" wheel would need 6.75" BS to work out flush - others can chime in as there may be some wheel well modifications needed to fit correctly. The 315-25-19 tire would also be correct sizing.
I mentioned 18" in the beginning of my post for a few reasons (hear me out):
1) Tire and wheel availability is better
2) The weight will be significantly less (compared to 19") - better ride and handling
3) Tire sidewall - once you get past 18, the law of diminishing returns kicks in - handling can be compromised as the suspension cannot keep up with the demands of controlling the wheel with the additional spring rate introduced by the much stiffer tire.

Re: wheel questions
Okay thank you! I was planning on getting some Vossen wheels. That's why the 19s because it is the smallest size they offer. I'm also getting coilovers and plan on getting the fenders rolled and removing all of the inner fenderwell plastics.
