i would consider a different wheel. 3in spacers are sketchy. but you should be good there with that size spacer if you really wanted those wheels.

I used some 2.25 wheel adapters for some +56 17x9.5 Zr1 replicas that I had on the front of my car. Worked for me no problems. Might be able to dig up a pic if you want to see.

3" is 76mm, or 20m more than you would need to get 56mm 9.5" width wheels to fit. They will stick out about 1".

Also having a hard time finding them in 2.25 and 70.5 center bore though

the new wheels are 17" and since the strut is on an angle in relation to the wheel the clearance from the strut to the wheel will increase with larger diameter wheels.
