What is the best tire size to run on 15x8 inch rims? I recently purchased a z28 and it was 15/50 r15 tires on it.the problem is that tire size has been discontinued.

 

15/50r15's ???


I prefer a staggered look.
For 8in wide wheels front and back I would use 245/60r15 front and 255/60r15s rear.
I also prefer the new S/T Sportsman street radial that Mickey Thompson came out with.

I apologize it was suppose to 225/50 r15. Thank you for responding to my post. After seeing this tire setup on your car, I believe it is the one I am going to go with.

 

The black car belongs to a friend that just happens to be running the size I suggest.


Mine has the 255/60r15's in the rear on 8x15in. AR-23 wheels
but has the 235/60r15 in the front on 7x15in..


Both cars have the Mickey Thompson S/T's.

 

I run 235/60-15 on front and 275/60-15 on rear... I did have 255/60-15 rear years ago.
