84 Trans Am w/ 17's size question

I got a set of the year one snowflakes in 17's. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what will fit? I'm assuming I'll have to stagger them. I was thinking of 275 40 17 rear and 245 45 17 front.

Go 275-40-17 on all 4 corners.

I don't think I can fit a 275 front without rubbing. At least that's what I've heard, I haven't seen anyone run a 275 front on the early f body.

Re: 84 Trans Am w/ 17's size question

OEM sized 245-50-16 wheels and tires rub at full lock...

1984 Z28

Under full lock, 275-40-17 is going to rub a bit - but as long as it doesn't when you drive or turn the wheel less than full lock - it should be ok.
