Reman 1988-90 Iroc Wheels
Hi everyone:
Has anyone out there had their 16 x 8 wheels CNC remachined and refinished?
I'm looking to get this done to my wheels, but afraid that I'll get a "hack" job.
Has anyone been down this road that can share their experiences good or bad?

Never heard of that, although some places recondition IROC wheels. Basically they polish, repaint the centres and clear coat them. There are articles here on how to do this yourself.
A few years ago I bought a set of 4 reconditioned IROC wheels from Third Gen Ranch. Unfortunately they only ever shipped two of the four wheels I bought and paid for. This happened to other people overseas as well.
The two '88 IROC wheels I did get from Third Gen Ranch were really good.
In the past 18" '87 single-stripe wheels sometimes popup.
In the end I sold the two reman IROC wheels cheaply on eBay and bought a set of silver 17 * 9 wheels from Paul at CTW. Love these wheels and recommend Paul as a great guy to deal with.
