18" wheel and tire combo help

Good morning all, I recently acquired some 18" TT II wheels with 0 offset. Does anyone know if a 245/55 18 tire will fit up front with out rubbing. Have stock suspension and no spacers. I have had one tire shop tell me they will rub on hard turns and another tell me that they will clear??? Thanks

Re: 18" wheel and tire combo help

The stock 16" front wheels were zero offset. If you have 8" wide wheels, it should be rather close to stock fit because the tire will be centered in the same lateral location.

Your tires are a little taller than stock. And the width as mounted could be a little different if your wheels are a different width. But you should be in really good shape.

Re: 18" wheel and tire combo help

Thanks for the info. And I think you are on the money. All the tire research I've done looks like the 245/45-18 will be 1" taller overall. 1/2" on either side. Only issue I might have is at full steering lock one way or the other. Thanks again.
