275/35/20 all around (27.6'') ???

Here is the thing I swapped my 5th gen wheels and would like to put them on my 91 in order to install the 5th gen brembos... I am actually running 275/40/17 on 4 corners which as 25.7'' total diameter. According to the 20'' calculator, I should go with a 245/35/20 to meet the OEM diameter. I would like to go wider but not willing to sacrifice my sidewall height! Is anyone running the 275/35/20 fronts and rears here? In addition, the car is lowered approx 1 inch with the Eibach Pro kit. The tire size I am interested in will have a total of 27.6 diameter. I know we shouldn't go over 27 inches, but since I would have spacers, is there anything that could be done to make them fit without issues...

Thanks for your help

Yeah I think so too! i must admit I am not a fan of 20 inches wheels but I am seriously tempted to put the 5th gen brakes and don't want to go with 19'' wheels since tire size are more difficult to find and more expensive...

I fit gen 5 rear and gen 6 front camaro brakes under 18" wheels. You just need lots of pad height for them. My rear tires are almost 27" and I had to modify the wheels wells a bit, more because of width. My fronts are 275 40 18 and they are close but don't rub and my car is pretty low.

Plenty of guys running some hardcore road and autocross courses with 17's and 18's, and the smaller (by comparison) brakes that fit within them. Not saying don't go 20, not saying don't run those brakes. Just saying you don't NEED to. By all mean do what you want. This entire hobby is based around things we don't NEED....but.....just be honest with yourself about what you NEED and what you WANT! LOL
