18x9.5 considerations
This may be a dumb question. Going from factory 15" wheels and tires to Corvette reproduction 18x9.5" wheels and 295/45/R18 tires (tires come with the wheels, that's why I'd use that size), would it have any effect on the speedometer being off? Or is there a way to figure that? Is there a better size tire that should be used than that? And is there anything else that should be taken into consideration before making such a significant increase in wheel size? Yes, adapters are part of the deal.

They are 28.5" tall, that a light truck/SUV tire size. Not going to work for you.
You need a 275/35/18 to keep it around 26"

Hello I recently bought a 1992 Camaro z28 and want to put some stagger rims on it. Who knows how wide I can go on the rear? I was thinking of doing some 18’s or 17’s

11 inches wide. Anything wider you will need to mini tub and work on the rear lower control arms to clear the wheels.
