Im looking for new wheel spacers, the ones on the front have a lot of play around the hub bolts, at least 2 mm..couple of questions below.

1. Are spacers safe?
2. How much stud clearance is too much?
3. Who make good spacers?
4. Any help with this would be much apprecated

bolted on or not are they hub centric or not

1. spacers with right bolt pattern for wheel and our cars are safe if bolted correctly
2. be more specific with to much clearance ? but no such thing to much
depending on thickness of adapter you may need to trim down due to clearance issue with
wheel hub back especially if wheel doesn't have pocket relief's for weight savings

4. do some research and reading about wheel adapters and terms like lug centric hub centric
learning about tire size backspacing offset as all of it directly affects wheel spacer sizing

I have an 84 z28 and bought some American racing wheels to go with my car but the wheels were hitting the wheel wells. Anyone know where I could get some spacers? And what lug pattern or specs they are? Any info helps please and thanks
