Torq Thrust II fit
Hey everyone, just registered as a new member.
I have an 87 IROC and I’m ready for wheels and tires. Has factory disc on front and drums on the back. I am wanting to put 17x8 with 245/45/17s on the front and 17x9.5 with 275/40/17s on the rear and want to make sure the wheels I’m looking at will work with no modifications before buying. Below are the part numbers to what I am looking at purchasing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
VN51579562 17x9.5 5.5 inch backspacing
VN5157863 17x8 4.0 inch backspacing

Re: Torq Thrust II fit
Those should both fit fine.
I would consider doing a square setup with 17x9.5 all around. A square setup will reduce understeer and allow you to rotate your tires.
