Weld rts 71 wheels

Hey guys I've been looking over the weld wheel fitment guide and they are showing a 17x10 wheel 5.4" BS and a LOW pad, will the low pad clear LS1 rear brakes?? I'm trying to decide between these or Billet specialties street lite wheels. Thanks guys have fun!

Re: Weld rts 71 wheels

OK, so I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine the low pad would clear the LS1 rear brakes. I have the Ventura's, and they're basically a flow formed/cast version of the S71 with a low pad. The Low pad clears my LS1 Fronts, and PBR/LT1 rears. From the template I have, they also, JUST BARELY, clear c6Z51 fronts. The major interference comes with the fixed calipers like the modern Brembos on the higher trim level cars, and aftermarket offerings. The floating calipers have a LOT less clearance issues.

....but I realize I still didn't give you a hard answer. LOL. Best I can do. I would talk to someone directly at Weld. I had good experience with their customer service. -unless of course you find someone who's already done it and can give you a hard "yes" or no.
