GENUINE RONAL R15 WHEELS
Hi guys, new to the forum… Anybody here with Ronal R15 wheels? Are all 4 the same size or are they originally staggered?

Re: Ronal R15 question
Ok, after digging through the classified section it appears they are all the same 17x9.5…. Which will not work for my application unfortunately… I guess lucky for you guys, I will be selling these as soon as I get permission to post in the classified section…. I’m near NYC if anybody is interested, also have the lug nuts and tool to remove the caps (it’s a DIY tool though)

Re: Ronal R15 question
I’ll try to check here every day to get my classified section privileges, but fastest way to contact me is 914 455 0999… if the above is against forum rules, I apologize and feel free to remove… Thanks

Re: Ronal R15 question
I don't know how many posts are required to list an ad, but replying to my question will help you add another post to your total.
I'm not interested in the R15, but it's one of the more popular wheels among TGO membership, especially if they're REAL Ronal R15s, not the reproductions. Are they the real deal?
The reproductions haven't been available for a couple of years, even though vendors list them as available, so I think somebody here will be interested in these.
Maybe change the title of this thread and eliminate the word, question, then retype the title using one of these variants: RONAL R15 WHEELS, (or if they're the real thing, not reproductions) GENUINE RONAL R15 WHEELS, Ronal R15 Wheels, Genuine Ronal R15 Wheels, or GENUINE Ronal R15 Wheels. One of those should get attention.
To edit the title of a thread, click the edit button in your initial post, then you'll see more edit options, one being go advanced; click that, and then you can edit both the body of the post and the title too.

Re: Ronal R15 question
Thank you very much for the tips… they do appear to be original, have the Ronal stamp in the back… I just didn’t want to go against the community rules, but figured I’ll post something to see if there’s any interest… I saw a set on here recently that sold fairly quickly listed at $2700, so I guess that would be my starting point… wheels are in great shape, faces look brand new, tires are great and all… if anybody is interested or needs time stamps etc, I’ll be happy to provide…

Re: GENUINE RONAL R15 WHEELS
So, yeah, this is just a "fishing" thread, not a sale thread. People do that all the time, where they'll post a thread that they have 'this' or 'that,' and they're thinking of selling it, but they don't really know how much it's worth. Then replies will come in with ideas for pricing. But people with REAL interest are likely to not reply here but contact you privately, then you two can discuss. Whether or not fishing threads are considered "proper" or not, people do it all the time here.
The Classifieds require a selling price. Bidding wars are not allowed on TGO. Take it to ebay if you want to do that. But this way, you can get an idea here for a realistic selling price, and you might even sell to someone privately and never have to post an ad in the Classifieds.
And, yes, they do look like the real thing. I suspected so because of the center cap emblems, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.

Actually, i think David Means may have a pair of the original narrower R15 wheels. 8" wide.

One of my all time favorite wheels. Beautiful, and even cooler if they're original. I've got 3 sets of wheels for my Iroc already, so not interested, but I can't see you having any trouble selling them. It's not chump change, so they may not sell immediately, but they'll sell. Beautiful wheels.

Thank you all for kind words, I bought these thinking they would fit my old e30 bmw, since it’s the same lug pattern, but these are big boys hah… I need to be able to turn

I think those will work great on the BMW, just don't turn or hit any bumps.

Re: GENUINE RONAL R15 WHEELS
It's a bit ironic that someone with a BMW would try to use a wheel from a 3rdgen, when it's more often people with 3rdgens and 4thgens who would try to use wheels from BMWs.
The bolt patterns are not the same though. They're close, at 4.75" vs 4.72" (120.65mm vs 120mm), and a lot of people use 120mm wheels on 120.65mm bolt patterns without issue. Today's wobble lug nuts were made for such applications. But with 120mm wheels being so much more common these days than 120.65, I'm surprised you can't find a 120mm wheel you like for your BMW.
