Axle/Gears: Ford 9"moser 31 spline 350 gears

Michelin PS2 vs BFG Rival-s

I would like to know , If anyone has any experience with these two tire's . I'm looking at the Mps2's over the Bfg. What I'd like to know is , is there a size difference , say both are 315/30/18.. is one bigger than the other ? My buddy has the Bfg.. But he says they suck in the rain.
