I've got my weld 15x3.5 skinnies on the way, and am working on deciding what sized tires to get. I know I need 165 r 15's but what hight? 165/XX/r15

What should I go with in the XX? 75?

 

you have no choice. the tire size is 165R15. there is no sidewall size.

 

I was told at the place i'm getting the tires i can get anything from 55's to 85's

anyone know?

 

these are metric tires. they don't have a sidewall number on them. although i'd assume it's 165/75R15. but who knows. they're 25.3 inches tall if that helps. basically they are factory VW bug type tires.

Thats a good idea, i'll just look at the overall height for figuring out what i need.

i like the 205/75/15 myself. depends on your rear tires.

id go with the 165/15's if you run 26" rear tires
205/75/15 if you run 28" rear tires.

 

Just be careful with that small of a front tire, when we put them on the truck we lost all R/T adjustibility since they are soo fricken small and lights were red red red. These small of front tire see little to no difference at all with pressure changes for tree tuning.

 

^^ several bracket racers down here run the 27" front runners or the 205/75/15 radials for that same reason.

the rollout on the lil tires is horrible.
