This is where the tricky welding comes in. The pinch welds are galvanized steel sandwiched between seam sealer. Makes for a SUPER dirty weld. I used the torch to burn off when I could, then shoved a ton of wire into it.

After blasting the pinch weld area with wire and heat, a flapper wheel makes the ugly welds disappear!

I did do some beauty TIG passes to make things look good. No one can see the welds with the interior installed, but I'll know it's there.

Passenger side rear doubler plate tacked up. With TIG, I had to use a lot of tacks and fill in gaps and burn off contaminants.
