Washer covers factory hole and seals it off great. Just 3 small tack welds and it's good to go.

2 cuts on bracket to seperate from old pipe and weld back together. If u leave a little metal on one cut you can bend it open and remove then bend back together, this makes it easier to keep bracket the correct offset so that it will line up perfect with studs.

4th gen on left and 3rd on right, you can see how the cat points a totally different direction than the 3rd gen, maybe a cut up from there and some fab you could make it work.
