$61 xdf released for TBI

http://www.moates.net/fileman/index....%20Definitions
files;
61 for 8746_TBI.txt
61 for 8746_TBI.xdf

Download BOTH of those files. You will need the txt file to do the temperature lookups.
This is for the 1228746 ecm's only.
The xdf is in Deg F because that's what I like. If you don't like, make your own xdf file. I spent a lot of time getting this setup but you might find the tables a little unorganized. They actually are, but to my liking. You can simply drag them around. Also, if there is something major that I missed go ahead and tell me and I'll update it.
This file works with the stock AND patched bins so don't think you'll have to modify it if you added the Rev limiter and extended IAT patch! I've also included the table bias values for when you view the tables in "Show Calculated Values" mode. So there really isn't any reason to change the bias values, it's very clear and staright forward like TunerCat. Look at the MAIN SA table, CTS SA, and TCC lockup SA table and add them up, no more subtracting bias'. Enjoy

I've been looking forward to this download.

Just took a look, I love the organization on it. This is pretty sweet, I think the graphics are even sharper.

Second edit... does it really say wall wetting???

How do i go about changing the temperature where my fan comes on with this? I looked at all the constants, but i couldnt find anything that i thought related to it.....maybe i just dont know what to look for?

Also, would "set" or "not set" be "off" for the egr?

Im a little new to this, in case you couldnt tell.

The 8746 does not have any fan provisions, even in this version.

So......can i do anything with the data from the coolant temp sensor, or do i just need to buy one for a buick grand national? (i read that it turns the fan on earlier) What about a resistor attached to it to change the output range of the cts?

Best bet is the GN fan switch. The '8746 ECM does not have any control over the cooling fan.

Get the fan switch from an 86-87 turbo regal or an 89 Turbo Trans AM. I know these three are the same.

Use one on the 383 Formula for the second fan :-) Works great

later

I guess I should implement lookup tables for XDFs, similar to ADS lookups, eh?

Great work, Jon. It's always great to see this kind of effort. Keep them coming!

Yeah, that would be great (in my best Bill Lumburg voice)
I've got a $6E xdf sitting here that is pretty nice and easy to work with... if I e-mail it too you will you host it?

To the rest of you:

luvmy64, you've brought up a few things I didn't get around to commenting. For the bpw - injector constant look at the comments. I spelled Flow wrong (Fllow) and there isn't an explination for the the unit of measurement of displacement. It IS liters. So bpw = 11600 * 5.7 / 8 / 65 = 127 .
I'll fix that and the EGR flag comments. I thought I did that already but must have forgotten to save . I'll replost in this thread when I get it done.

Is it a derivative of the original 6E XDF included in the application? If so, yes, in fact I'll replace the included XDF with it.
