Auto Ventshade Blackouts
I've got to say...I love the look.. Blackouts look AWESOME on Camaros, especially the taillights... BUT, purchase them from another company if possible. Auto Ventshade blows donkey. I've gone through three packages of headlight blackouts by them. The first, they were scratched..the second, they were cracked.. And the third, they were WAY too large..I don't know how they expected them to fit neatly around those openings. AND they were scratched and cracked IN THE BOX, unopened!
I got the taillight blackouts from them and installed them. No scratches or cracks, but the right one is tinted darker than the left! That's right! So now all my lights look 20% brighter on my left side!
I will never buy from them again. TERRIBLE products.

Yeah..they're very poorly manufactured, ALTHOUGH they do look wicked cool. But like I said, I'd buy them from another company if possible.

i thought gt styling (GTS) went belly up or stopped making products for camaros or something, i was under the impression that Wade was the only company that had us covered.

Here's my GTS blackouts:

I'm not sure how they are supposed to mount (mine were on there when I bought the car from the previous owner), but he has them on with velcro... I love the look of the blackouts except for at night you can see the velcro strips.
I don't think it's how they're supposed to be though so I wouldn't sweat it. Trending Topics

Nobody likes my stickers...I've gotten more heat on this site for those than for ANYTHING else. I just look at it like this..I'm doing advertising for good companies/products...and also, the Moroso sticker covers a big crack in my bumper, and the Dynomax sticker covers a dealership painted-on decal. Well, here's another photo of the front.

Here's the rear...BEFORE the blackouts, stickers, and performance exhaust..BUT it shows the louvers I have sitting in my garage. I can't decide whether I want them on or off.
yea i bought the autoventshande covers for the front and i didnt even put them on the car becuz they looked stupid so i sentthem back the next day. but i bought my taillight covers off of a guy on this board for 50 bucks and there GTS. u can still find the GTS headlight covers, and taillight covers, just need to look in the right places online. i got a brand new set of front covers i just need a new nose becuz mine is warped for being 20 yrs old.
edit: oh yeah how do u get the GTS letters of the covers?

I use to have GTS headlight covers till a bird hit one and broke it. They wouldnt cover it under warrenty since GTS was bought out. I then talked my perants into getting me another set from Wade which I found in the Jegs catalog. I got the tail and headlight ones, the headlight ones are exactly the same as my old GTS ones and the tail ones look sweet as hell

meridius....so the Wade headlight covers fit good? Those Auto Ventshade ones have like 1/2 to 1 inch of extra material on either side..I could trim them up but I'd void any sort of warranty so I said the hell with it.

they seem to fit alright for me now thats not to say someone else may have a problem with them but I think they are the exact same things as my old GTS ones.
