Here's right before I went to bed last night... and it's run all night! I'm gonna need another charger - this guy by itself doesn't pump the power I need

Electrolysis is used to prep metal for chrome plating, isn't it?

Hum, what chemicals are used??
I could do that to some of my parts
removes paint, or just grease/dirt??
Actually, a link to a website that shows it would be better

OK, I'm sharing my secret
http://www.rowand.net/Shop/Tech/Electrolysis.htm
Word of advice - use TWO battery chargers. One just doesn't cut it, unless you leave it for about 48 hours! Another thing, be SURE to dissolve plenty of baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) into the water, before you plunk your metal in.
The water gets SUPER friggin' nasty - but it's basically water and gunk - no real chemicals.
Man, am I the only guy on here that stayed awake in Chemistry/Physics?

Coo, thanks for link. Will read it when I have more time.
Chemistry/Physics?? Never had them class'. Highist I got was biology (sp?) and I passed it with a 61 percent. Like most my classes except body shop and drafting

Hmm...must read up on this.. If only I had parts I could take off to clean...both the engines are cherry and I don't wanna take anything off and screw up putting it back on.

I experimented with chemistry kits as a kid. And invented a chemical reaction....lol....it wasn't in any of the booklets, and normally they try to keep the kits so that no chemicals will interact with eachother except in a predictable way they you can do stuff with in their booklets. Don't remember what I mixed exactly.....water, sodium carbonate, and.....ahh....I dont know anymore. But they were purple crystals. They turned into orange foam...lava-like..and foamed up. Then when it fizzed back down, parts of it hardened... Problem was, this chemical reaction ruined all of my test tubes. Stained or crusted them up.
