Best AFPR

I am thinking about buyin a AFPR and i was just wondering what all you guys were using. What is the best one out there or what brand is the best one for the money? Just don't want to buy a cheap one that won't do a whole lot. Thanks

I highly recommend the Holley AFPR..

I believe they run about $60-ish, but u may wanna invest in a guage as well to monitor actual fuel pressure..

it would look ok. i like the square look myself, because it fits the 3rd gen better, especally the interior. buy a square housing for round gauges and box it in so it is the same dimentions as the air vent above it, that will give it a smoth "factory" look, and you could even put a peice of black plexi with neon behind it if you wnated for that custom feel.

good luck.
thanks

I've never seen that pod setup before.. interesting..

I think it would look good mounted under the (center) heater vents..

I see alot of people mount the guage on the driver's side weather stripping beam using a 3 pod attachment (expensive), and I think it looks great there..

One thing to bear in mind.. it's dangerous (maybe even illegal in some areas) to run a fuel line into the car for the guage as it can cause a fire pretty quick inside the car.. a mini fire extinguisher might not be a bad idea, but it's ur call..

Good luck with it all though!

i liked my tpis version; except for the fact that if you make a mistake you can break the vaccum tab very easily. my miniram came with one as well but it's a little different then the tpi version...a little nicer as well.

i also recommend using a fuel pressure guage. i like my electric autometer version....pricey but well worth it when it's hooked up.

good luck.

Holley is the best. It's billet, has a large **** that doesn't need a wrench to adjust and it comes with a new diaphram as well.
