Dual Fans Installed
Well, I finally got fans in, and time to install them today. Went fairly well. Also got that damn plug out the intake, had to use some mapp gas for about 2 min, and a 24" breaker bar.
I suggest to anyone else doing this, remove the wonderbar if you have one. I cussed it the whole time.
Now, I just need to get a fan wire plug, and wire them up to wire the one on earlier.

Cool! Hey I don't suppose you weighed each of those for comparison, did ya? Did the dual fan feel much heavier then the single fan (or vice versa)?

dale, is the reason your raditior cap on the right when mine is on the left in my 89 rs is it because yours is a 3.1? also i thought just the v8's used the radiotors with the caps on the right (just a assumption probably not correct)

Tom, i didn't weight them, but whatever the weight of your fan motor is, I'm guessing it weights that much more. All the plastic stuff I'm guessing weights the same.
89driver, no clue on the radiator, thats what was in it when I got the car.
Extra note, between the radiator and ac condensor, was about 1/4 full packed with leaves n crap. Sure that didn't help my situation.

Well, the orginal fan motor burn up. I got duals cheaper then I could get just the new fan motor. Plus, the car gets drove in conjested traffic daily. Its also housed in the south, where summer temps can get 90+ EASLY.

As of right now, I am still running the single, on a 165 deg hypertech switch, it seems to help.
Once I get a fan plug end, I am going to order the 185 hypertech switch, and wire the one up. Then leave the other as "backup" to kick in at the outragious 220.
Be prepared, these setups are usually not very cheap. I got mine cheap because it was "broke", nothing I cant fix for 15 bux later :P
