I would keep the ground effects on your car. For some reason every time i see a sc without any there seems to be something not right about the car. But thats my opinion. The pic in my sig is my 85 sc, i've put gfx's onto mine and it looks 200% better.
I kind of prefer the body lines on the plain jane SC, but the nose is way to high and looks as if it needs some effects. Some custom fibreglass would clear that up.
I am putting G-effects on mine for aerodynamic purposes only.

I hate camaros without ground effects, just looks really sloppy and kinda like a ******* style. LOL The birds dont look as bad wi/o gfx but I think for Cammy's its a must. SOrry guys just voicing my opinion I mean no harm. ALso not having ground effects makes the car seem to sit higher too. I wonder what it would look like if you had a thirdgen lowerd but w/o gfx's, hmm...

I like my 87 Camaro with out GFXs, The only thing i hate is my Front Bumper it just does not look right, So im gona Put the 82-84 Z28 front Bumper on it cous the bottom Spoiler on it Is just soft enought to go with out GFXs. The 85-92 Is just way to Big and makes the car look weird as hell.

I have a good idea of why firebirds look good without ground effects, but not for camaros. Its the front end. Firebirds have a much steeper slope on the front, which makes them sleeker looking, especially the 91-92 firebirds. I'm thinking about putting a Trans Am nose or Razzi Trans Am style front air damn to my car. I don't like to see a lot of tire from the front view and I don't like the air pushing against my tires at speeds above 60 mph. Plus I would like to have foglights that are not hanging from the bottom of my bumper. Sport Coupes look weird without ground effects, kind of generic looking IMO. Everyone and thier mother may have them, but they also look better than without them. I would keep the ground effects.

Hmm, the only "bad" looking Camaros, in my opinion, are the 2nd generation Camaros. They just look like a bunch of stick on parts. Scoops, spoilers, funnels and horrible stripes--they are just ugly to me.
Sometimes I'm torn between liking the 3rd gens with gfx and without. Lately it has been without, but it has to be the right colour to get away with it. I think mine, being Flame Red Metallic, is one of the few colours that can pull it off. In fact, I'm really iffy about gfx on a thirdgen that is all flame red metallic. It just doesn't seem to be a colour that lends itself to it. But light grey gfx on a flame red metallic Camaro or 'Bird looks hot. Like this one

You are right bj350hp. That front bumper on Sport Coupes doesn't look great. Sport coupes with the z28 front bumpers look cool. I would do the same, but I have a Firebird.

I think the black and white thing my car has looks good without GFX - especially the black tail light covers.
