Anyone have pics of their heater valve delete?
I was wondering if anyone had some decent pics of their heater valve delete/ simplification. I am planning to toss the setup in favor of a line off the water pump outlet nipple (plugged on stock l03's) and the other line to the rad. heater hose outlet on the pass. side. Trying to get to the point where I can SEE my pass. valve cover.

i'll take pics of mine (probably be able to post them next week, i don't have a cam, so i wil have to borrow one). i did it a little diffrently than you descibe. i plugged the connection that is on the framerail, then connected the 2 upper hoses together with 90* junction, just behind the pass. valve cover. the heater works, and it blows cold air when you select it via hvac.

hmm. you got me thinking.
when i swap intakes, my intake has rear coolent exit ports.
i suppose i could take coolent from the REAR of the intake manifold, and run the valve to line along the frame rail... hmm.
i think i'll look into that tonight.

Here's mine on an 89 Formula. One line runs from the intake near the thermostat, and and returns to the nipple on the water pump.

That's a ****ty picture, but its real simple. Just run your hose from the manifold to the nipple closer to the pass side on the heater core, then then driver's side nipple run to the hard line and plug the little passage comming up from the hard line. Then run the out on your hard line to the radiator.

i had cut a formed elbow from the stock line and plugged it into the rear water inlet on the manifold. the other line was ran to the radiator. i removed the hard line along the passenger wheel well so i had room for the headers. i still have circulation and heat.
