platinum w/nitrous??? Can I?

I am about to install a nx express kit. Do I need to change to differant plug.

yup, you cant run platinum. you will burn off the electrode when combustion happens and would cause a lean condition and make your pistons go poof!

Platinum on the plugs can contribute to detonation. This is because platinum is a catylist.
Platinum plugs don't have a true horsepower benfit anyway. Their benifit is in long life. They don't require as much electrical energy to spark, but don't produce a very strong spark. Go with a good copper core plug. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go a heat range or two colder.

platimun plugs are junk.

Try a cold non-resistor plug.

i wish some one would have told me this 2 weeks ago!!! just want to dubble check there is no way i should run them with n2o. now i just bought new set of platimun plugs from o reilly's they are unopened can i take them back or am i out of luck.
