I figure I'll add my bunch to this. And YES that is a escort on the right side of the pics. Sadly I don't have an engine for the car yet, and money is still a issue. (since when is money not a issue?)
And most of the outside pics are of third gens. The only people who came there without a Thirdgen were ZR1 man and Myself. But at least ZR1 man brought the goods, I just brought the leftovers

I could be wrong about the VIN, I realize that the 10th digit could be a G, and I'm too lazy to update the text in the image.

WOW!!!!!!!
They mowed the grass just for you to take pictures!?!?!?!
LMAO......
Sorry..... I had to.
Seriously, that's cool as all hell. There's not one bad looking car in any of those pics (not even the Escort
) Now I wish my wife was unemployed so we could have gone to.

hehe, they even removed most of the white posts in the pic too! j/k that was an accident, but we put them back before we left. I photoshoped one post out in the pics I took. It was in front of the red camaro.
believe me, that escort was NOT clean, and still isn't.

Thanks for posting the pics guys. The white firebird is mine(for anyone who was not there) We had a great time, it was nice to meet everyone. Hope to get together again soon(with or without the cars, i am sure we could figure something out)
Big thanks to jeremy for setting everything up
And even though bill brought his escort, he does own a thirdgen, so lets not tease him too bad.
, haha, just playing with you man. I hope we see that GTA on the road for the next meet.
And if anyone who reads this talks to nick, tell him he must help me with my swap!!! I dont wanna be a six forever!!!
BTW, we think we may have been parked on some private property!!! we saw a little cemetary to the right of us

I saw those too Tim, I didn't say anything but I bet we were. Oh well, live and learn. At least we didnt' ruin the grass. Seeing as how the only contact Volo has is jeremy's I say we pray they don't complain and 'talk' with him.
As for the GTA, I'm hoping to get it on the road for next summer. I may end up doing the engine swap sometime around march. During the winter the car will be stored indoors and I'll be working on the interior, and few other things. If anyone has a bellhousing shield for a 700r4 auto please let me know, since I found out I don't have one!

Guys,
I wish I could have made it to Volo but family circumstances prevented me from being there.
I know it's about time to be putting our cars away for the winter but it's probably not too early to start thinking about next year. Anyone have any events that they know of that we could plan an get together around? The first gathering we had in Rockford in early April was a little cold but I think everyone that attended still had some fun.
Everyone have a great winter and I'll look forward to seeing you in the spring!
P.S. If someone decides to try one more get together this year, I'd be interested.

I'm just happy that you made it when you did. Because if it had been a week later then I'd have been SOL. Gymnastics season started for us and now I have no free weekends(cept those i can try to take off, but its not likely) for the next 5 months! On most weekends I"ve got back to back meets saturday, and sunday!
Which is why the car won't be done till march or so. :*(
On a side note I got bored and threw together a wallpaper for the people who attended. Still looking up a good pontiac logo, but I'll throw it up for you guys when its done.
Here it is, in all 1600x1200 glory. I'm not happy with it, but I can't seem to get it to match whats in my head.

Nah, the escorts in there cause I was there. ^_^
I'm proud of my escort because its the first car that I payed for new. Even though it was used. Its all payed off, and so I went after the GTA. Though I'll never consider the escort a 'fast' car by any means. ^_^
I get bored so I do signatures and wallpapers. Though signatures are fun to do because you can whip them up in about 20 minutes and have something new an decent. One of my favorite signatures is the "Gone in 60 Seconds" Eleanor sig I did a few months back.

The lightning layer is actually called "Cracked Emerald" from Paint Shop Pro 7.0. It was originally green, hence Emerald.
I've done a few sigs with cars in them, most of the cars are Mustangs. Mainly because I'm in love with the late 60's era mustangs.
I do have some with Ferrari's, and one with a 69' GTO Judge.
You can find those sigs near the bottom of the following page. Yes, its got alot of Anime girl sigs. But hey, what can I say. I'm addicted to Anime.
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/wjrneo2/f1sig.htm
And scarily enough, I have even MORE signatures on my hard drive that I'm still toying with!
All totaled I probably do about 60 to 70 signatures a year JUST for experimental purposes. Learning new techinques and such. Different ways to layer for that 'perfect' effect. Half of those sigs never see the light of day because they never work out, but I still save them none the less.

Allen--Nick put those flags on my car a few weeks ago while I was at work and I am not sure if they are staying on there or not but I am leaving them there for now to see if I really like them. He did a good job with them I think but if I decide to keep them i am getting some on towards the front of the car.
