Lets see those daily driven or weekend strip/street cars. Budget cars would be nice. Want to see some cars with skinnys and welds instead of 17s and 18s. Lets see those street machines!

NICE! What backspacing are u running on the backs? Also what front springs?

 

Thx man, the rear Back spacing is 4", and teh front springs are intrax, but I wasn't pleased with the the stance so I modified the intrx just a bit. The front drop when all was said and done was 4" at the Kmember. its pretty much on the ground now.

 

Weld Pro Stars 15x5 front (3.5" backspace) and 15x8 rear (4.5" backspace). Daily driven spring-summer-fall

 

So out of all these members only 2 ppl. have these wheels and tires?

 

I have skinny's and fatty's but mine are 17's

28.5" was to tall, btw. They would rub the wheel well as they expanded.

 

I was going to ask how those rubbers would act when you get them turning.. if you'd get a bit of bind when you got some speed.

They start to rub pretty good on the inner fenders. I never took it out of my neighborhood, so I don't know how bad they rub at 30 plus.

Very bouncy too, felt like I didn't have anyt shocks on the car.

The rims were 15x8, and I think the slicks were 10" wide.

Mine are Draglites with BF Goodrich Radial T/A on a 15x8 with a 275/60-15(rear) and a 15x7 with a 225/60-15(front). Only down fall my rears rub kind of bad if I over load my car or hit a bump really hard.

Heres mine with 275's out back and 205's up front. I have a little over $5000 total into the car including the price and all of the repairs Ive done its defenetly a budget car. Ive arleady beat a few midely modded lt1 cars and mustangs of many years. next month after my gear swap I hope to hit the track and find out what she runs. I am expecting mid 13's.

Sorry nope not black again. most likly a HOK color. Orion Silver base with kandy cobalt blue topcoat.

Tuned Port 335...what size tires are you running up front?

I have 255/50/16 drag radials mounted on Prostar XPs. Do they make 16x5 fronts? If so what would be the correct tire size for that rim? If I went with a 15x5 fronts what size tire would I need to run to keep it looking right?

The front tires are 205/70/15 Toyo Spectrum. I beleive they are 26.3" tall. Not too wide but not too skinny either. The rears are 245/60/15 and are 26.5" tall. I would like to go wider but that will wait until I burn these ones off.

Your rear tires are 26.04" tall BTW.

From what i hear they don't make the XP's anymore, so you'd hafta go regular prostar unless you could find some used ones. I could be wrong though.
