IROCMParts: No I do not remember it being fully caged. It was fully decalled asr Stewart's Chev/Olds and raced at Toronto Players Challenge along the lakeshore. Some of the parts were only on the car for the race and then were to be sent back to GM.

Hey, is there any chance you can post a pic of that sticker on top of the plemum. The one that says something about this engine intended for off-highway use only. Please, please, please. Oh, some pics of the yellow paint marks on the engine fasteners, if they are still there.

I found another for sale... I cant tell if its the same type but its a thirdgen racer non the less. Here is a link to an ebay ad for a vette race car, this is not for the thirgen but if you look in the pictures there is a thirdgen racer right next to it, as its a dealer I'm sure its for sale. Would contact them myself but I dont have the cash so I thought someone might be interested

i have a question that ive been wondering for a while...what is that metal spike type deely that sticks out like 2 inches on the top right side of the motor between the round thingys. does it serve a purpose or is it there for asking questions about?... i dunno what the names of everything are but u guys know what i meen.

A bolt in cage???? um... wow... and it's factory? is that legal for racing? I mean I'm not a road racer so it might be but it'd never pass for NHRA... Hmmmm you see something new every day...
