Does anyone know if these cars are the same ones that they used to use at the Bridgestone Racing School?

 

IROCMParts: No I do not remember it being fully caged. It was fully decalled asr Stewart's Chev/Olds and raced at Toronto Players Challenge along the lakeshore. Some of the parts were only on the car for the race and then were to be sent back to GM.

 

I just find the radio funny. Factory race car, with radio. Guess it made the long races easier.

 

Hey, is there any chance you can post a pic of that sticker on top of the plemum. The one that says something about this engine intended for off-highway use only. Please, please, please. Oh, some pics of the yellow paint marks on the engine fasteners, if they are still there.

 

There are also marks that cannot be seen by the naked eye to ensure to the inspectors that the engine had not been modified...

Here is a shot of some paint marks on the Player engine.

 

I saw that engine for sale on ebay a while back. There are also marks that can only be seen with a special light like a black light

I found another for sale... I cant tell if its the same type but its a thirdgen racer non the less. Here is a link to an ebay ad for a vette race car, this is not for the thirgen but if you look in the pictures there is a thirdgen racer right next to it, as its a dealer I'm sure its for sale. Would contact them myself but I dont have the cash so I thought someone might be interested

i have a question that ive been wondering for a while...what is that metal spike type deely that sticks out like 2 inches on the top right side of the motor between the round thingys. does it serve a purpose or is it there for asking questions about?... i dunno what the names of everything are but u guys know what i meen.

 

A clip clamps on that and holds the Throttle Cables cleanly and neatly in place.

it holds the throttle cables and tv and cruise control cables also. or on my car it does nothing.
