Any opinions on quality, value, of
"Ground Control Suspension Camber/Caster plates "
http://www.ground-control.com/index.html
They seem to have two kinds
anybody use these ?
They also have an "upper stress bar" that will
work with the Camber/caster plates
any comments on these ?

I have the Ground Control Caster/Camber Adjustment Plates and their Strut Tower Brace (Upper Stress Bar) on my 92 RS.
Very happy with both:
First, the caster/camber adjusters, in addition to giving you lots more adjustment possibilities, add about 1-1/2" to the height of the strut's upper mounting point, which gives your lowered car more suspension travel! They look great, too.The strut now mounts in a steel spherical bearing, instead of the rubber biscuit with bearing that's in the stock units. You have to re-use the sheetmetal housings of the original mounts, cut out the spot-welds holding them together to remove the rubber. The new piece then clamps to the top of the shell and can be rotated in any direction when the bolts are loose. This adjustment is in addition to the original slots. My current settings are:
Toe:1/32" (In)
Caster: +5.5 degrees
Camber: -1.5 degrees
The upper stress bar clears the TBI motor I have with 14x3" air cleaner, and it's a very beefy piece with steel rod ends. Also a very nice looking unit.
I don't have any easy way to post a photo, but if you want some pics, E-mail me and I'll send you some.

Looks very nice Rich.
The three bolts are attached to some sort
of piece hidden through the bottom ?
They seemed to offer another camber plate
at about 299.00
Any reason you chose this one over the plate...
Looks great

At the time I bought them, these were the only ones they offered.
Yes, there's another plate underneath, that's tapped for the three screws. You can rotate the whole thing when the screws are loosened up.
