Alternator question
I have a 91 RS w/ 305 TBI.....my bearings in the alt is starting to go out....question is:
Everybody around here wants to charge me an arseload of money for an alt (stock 100 amp type), but I notice on www.yearone.com's site that they have an Powermaster 140 amp alt for $140 (p/n PM93)....
1.) Does anybody have any exp using a 140 amp alt??
2.) What does it mean by "clock position 11?"

I dont have the 140 amp alt but I think you might be able to get it in summit cheaper or even jegs. I know yearone is very expensive for everything. The 11 oclock is the mounting postion of your alt. It tells you were the bolts go through on your alt
