Decal & Web Site
1. What does everyone thinks of this idea for a club decal.
The gray is ONLY so that you can see the white lettering. If possible I would like to try and get the decals done the same way as the one on my car (See the picture here ). The letters are as you see them, there is nothing holding the letters next to each other. The decal is applied by removing the protective covering from the "sticky" side of the letters and placing that onto the outside of the glass. Then you apply pressure (fingernail, superball etc) to the letters themselves and remove the protective film from the "unsticky" side leaving only the letters on the glass. Because the letters are hollow, it's less damaging to the car and yet provides a nice visual impact.
That sticker has been on my car for about 9 months. It is durable as long as the glass is clean before application.
As I get more details I will pass them along.
2. We have the opportunity to purchase the domain name "www.aztgo.org". The cost is about 34$ a year plus another $12 a year to point that name at a particular web host. (This is from Verisign.) I have the ability to host about 10 megs but with pictures and stuff that is too small.
My opinion it to purchase the domain name, not the forwarding, and then find suitable hosting before paying for the forwarding.
The reason the web site decision is important, is it would be nice to include that on the decal.

Now THAT is a decal, we should really stick with that one. it would look great on the bottom of the rear hatch.
We could buy the domain name now while we still can, and hold on to it while we look for web space. it would look great on the decal.

Let's not worry about the $35 for the domain, let's concentrate on web space. Obviously a donation of space and traffic would be great. I don't think we would need more than 100 mg storage and 100 mg a month (very small) but I don't have the authority here to donate what resources I have.
I've contacted the person that made the decal I have, I'm waiting for a response.
