Those are your backup light switch. I don't think the 700 harness plugs in directly, but it may have the right wires; they'll be blue and dark green. If it has those, just cut them off from the 700 plug, and put the right kind of Weatherpak connector to mate to the T-5 BU light switch on those 2 wires.

The number 2 connector is for the VSS (it provides the signal for your speedometer.) If you have a mechanical unit there is a product available to convert the signal to a machanical drive. I do not remember the link. If you e-mail me I will try to find it.

If you have an 86 camaro you have a mechanical setup. You will need to get the conversion I mentioned earlier. I will try to dig up the link. Otherwise go to skutle.com and look for the T56 swap page.

Who said anything about a T56? Just pull the VSS out and replace it with a cable driven speedo housing and gear.

Sorry, I didn't scroll to the side and notice #2...

For the mechanical there's no "conversion" necessary; just get a speedo gear housing out of any older GM car with one that size, which has been used basically forever up until the T-56. Doesn't have to be a Camaro or Firebird, could be a truck or whatever, doesn't have to be a T-5, could be a 3- or 4-speed, doesn't matter, they're all the same.

You'll probably need to go to the dealer and buy the right speedo gear for your rear end gear and tire size.
