switch for my amp/subs

my 88 T/A has the factory push button/slide control to pump up the base on the factory system. I now have a setup that i would like to be able to switch on and off with this button, and be able to adjust the gain(or bass) settings on my amp. Has anyone done this before? If so could you fill me in on how you would wire it?

that would probably be a good idea but difficult. it would make things easier if you got an amp that had a remote bass control already and splice it in. good luck if you decide to try it.

from what i remember (albeit somewhat vaguely) the setup was pretty simply to wire, assuming you had the original **** control thingy--if you can find the post i remember reading, it gives specifics for how to wire it up. but... i don't remmeber where i read it
