interested??
ok, if any of you out there are like me, you have t-tops, and the bag has aged and well, doesnt do its job any more. im making a 4th gen-style t-top holder for my trunk. im in the early stages so i can still take pics of the process, but before i do take pics and write instructions, would anyone actually be interested in this kind of project?
This has come up before and I know that a lot of ppl would love to have this done. Do the article and post pics. You would be doing us a favor. If you can do it well, you *might* be able to sell some.

alright ill do it, it already has 2 slots on a base that sits on the floor snugly. im thinking that ill make another board that lays on the middle of the trunk area (on that shelf type thing halfway up the side) that is contoured to the ttop curve. then i might make a strap system that hooks onto where the bag normally connects (near the rear seat). if it turns out ok ill probably make a geocities site on it or something, unless this site wants the article.

hey, if you make one, and it looks good, then i'd be willing to buy one, my t-top bag looks pretty bad, you could probably make some money off of that lol, or just sell your plans on making one, that'd be even better
, its been wet to my knowledge and it caused it to mold up, so i just threw it out lol, good luck

Make sure the pics are gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg file types then at the ontop of the Submit reply button there is a section that says attachment, click on browse and click onto your picture you want to up load. Make sure the pic isnt oversized something like 500 x 600 pixels are perfect for us dial up users, and a pic must be less than 102400 bytes in size.

alright, ill explain this better. that is just the base that he put up there. im making a curved board that sits on the next level half way up that will secure it from the other direction. then ill work out the other small details. i might eventually make it outta fiberglass also(depends on if i can find out how). i might get some foam pads that can space the ttops also that can just be stored in the side box back there.
hope that helps some more.

maybe a system of rope type things, depending on how it owrks out and if it needs to be more secure. this will prolly take me a while to do, so ill try and keep you guys/gals posted. i have other stuff im working on on the TA also, so i cant devote all my time to this project. did i mention im only 17 and im easily distracted? lol that should also help explain things.
